Functional testing checks the products’ capabilities as defined in their design specifications, such as the usability performance of a product, its ability to meet environmental requirements, and more.
A couple of examples are military compliance standards which address the various functional and safety requirements needed from the equipment used in military environments, or alarm systems, which require intensive functionality, reliability, environmental conditioning and testing before they can be placed on the market, and comply with respective Grade and Class establishment.
ITL has accumulated experience in functional testing in a variety of industries, identifying for functional errors and interoperability issues, even at the design phase of the product.
