What is CE?

What is ATEX?
ATEX (Atmospheres Explosives) certification is issued by Notified Certification Bodies, and is required to demonstrate that equipment and protective systems intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres, can be safely operated. Once the equipment is certified, it is marked by the ‘CE’ (meaning it complies with ATEX and all other relevant directives) and ‘Ex’ symbol to identify it as approved under the ATEX directive.
